Vashti Livingston is a WOC Nurse at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center Urology Ambulatory Division for 20 years and consults primarily urological outpatient clients. She has served 2 terms as a Director of the WOCN Society and is actively involved in this organization, served as an editor of a peer reviewed journal and committee member of the International WCET Norma Gill Foundation. She has presented at 12 international conferences (Australia, South Africa, Seoul Korea, Athens, Jamaica, Dubai, Turkey, Scotland, and India) on Ostomy Care and WOC Nurse Practice, as well as numerous local and regional conferences in the US. She is actively involved in community projects promoting Bladder and Colon Cancer Awareness and co-facilitates an online Bladder Cancer Support group. She has served as a clinical expert on 2 Ostomy online forums and has served as a clinical advisor on ostomy products and services for 3 major companies.
