Dr. White-Chu is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Oregon Health & Sciences University (OHSU) and is the medical director of the Wound Healing Program at the Portland VA Health Care System (VAPHCS). She sees veterans with limb threatening wounds as well as those living with pressure ulcers, venous leg ulcers, and other chronic wounds. She has published in peer-reviewed journals her medical school and residency wound healing curricula. Dr. White-Chu strives to simplify the complexity of chronic wound care in older adults for frontline providers in hopes that all older adults can receive timely, appropriate treatments.
