Dr. Brittany Kalapach, a proud native Austinite and fifth-generation Texan, embodies a deep-rooted commitment to her community and academic pursuits. Holding the distinction of being a third-generation graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, she cultivated her passion for healthcare early on.
Following her undergraduate studies, Dr. Kalapach pursued her calling in healthcare, earning her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine. Her dedication to serving veterans led her to complete her residency at the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA, where her exceptional care and compassion earned her the prestigious VA 'I Care' Award in 2015.
Currently, Dr. Kalapach serves as a respected healthcare professional at Central Health, the Travis County Hospital District serving Austin and greater Central Texas, where she continues to make a profound impact on the lives of her patients and community.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Dr. Kalapach finds joy and fulfillment in music, showcasing her talents as a bassoonist and tuba player with the Longhorn Alumni Band. She also loves being outdoors on one of the many area disc golf courses. Her multiple pursuits reflect her unwavering dedication to excellence and community service in Texas.
