Lauren Smith

Dr. Lauren Smith is originally from Northern Kentucky. She graduated from the Notre Dame Academy. Following high school, she attended the University of Dayton. Dr. Smith attended Podiatric Medical School in Chicago at Rosalind Franklin University where she also obtained her doctorate in podiatric medicine as well as a Master’s degree in Healthcare administration and management. She completed her residency and served as chief resident at Rush University in Chicago. She also completed training in advanced reconstructive surgery and limb preservation in Germany. She is currently practicing in Columbus, Georgia in private practice and works at the Piedmont Wound Care Center. She is also an Associate Professor at VCOM Auburn’s Medical School. Dr. Smith has two children and enjoys running. She is also in a band made of local physicians.
