Raegan Hunt, MD, PhD is the Chief of Service of Pediatric Dermatology at Texas Children’s Hospital and the Vice Chair for Pediatric Dermatology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. She completed the combined MD/PhD program with a dissertation in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston and the University of Texas Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. She then pursued Pediatrics residency training at the Johns Hopkins Hospital, followed by residency training in Dermatology at New York University, and Pediatric Dermatology fellowship training at the University of California San Diego. She is board certified in Pediatrics, Dermatology, and Pediatric Dermatology. She is the grants committee chairman for the Pediatric Dermatology Research Alliance (PeDRA) and actively participates in clinical research. Her academic interests include blistering diseases, nevi, connective tissue disorders, skin manifestations of systemic disease, cutaneous drug side effects, neonatal dermatology, and medical education.
