Mary Anne works at a level I Trauma Center in Minnesota, where she has provided advanced wound, trauma, and surgical care for more than three decades. She has become a nationally recognized expert in complex abdominal wounds, enteric fistula management, and surgical wound optimization. Mary Anne serves on the Wound Healing Foundation Board of Directors and is the Mission Wound Care Lead for the Canada Ukraine Surgical Aid Program, where she delivers wound care to Ukrainian civilians and soldiers. Her major accomplishments include earning multiple U.S. and European patents for innovative fistula and wound-management devices, authoring numerous peer-reviewed publications. Known for her pioneering clinical techniques, international humanitarian work, and significant contributions to wound care innovation, she continues to advance patient outcomes through clinical excellence, education, and global collaboration.
