Dr. Daniel Rosas is a Hematology–Oncology fellow physician and Chief Fellow at Memorial Cancer Institute. He earned his medical degree from CES University in Medellín, Colombia, and completed internal medicine residency training at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He is currently pursuing advanced subspecialty training in both malignant hematology and solid tumor oncology, with a particular focus on thoracic oncology. Dr. Rosas is committed to delivering evidence-based, compassionate care and is especially passionate about patient education and empowerment. He emphasizes open, transparent communication, shared decision-making, and clear explanation of complex treatment options so that patients and families can participate meaningfully in care planning. His goal is to improve outcomes while supporting quality of life throughout the cancer journey.
