Yasmin Abaza

I am a leukemia physician and clinical researcher with a specialized focus on targeted therapies for patients with myeloid malignancies. I have completed two fellowships in Hematology/Oncology and Leukemia at UCLA and MD Anderson Cancer Center, respectively. During my fellowship training, I published ten first and coauthor manuscripts for research projects, including clinical trials, in reputable journals and presented several oral and poster presentations at national and international meetings including ASH, ASCO, EHA, and AACR. I have received formal training in biostatistics and clinical trial design at UCLA completed in June 2020. I joined the leukemia program at Northwestern University in 2020 and I currently lead the MDS and Clonal Hematopoiesis programs at Northwestern University. I am a PI on numerous phase 1/2 studies in AML/MDS and CCUS and I am on the NCCN MDS guidelines. I am also part of the MDS and Older Adult myeloMATCH groups.
