Dr. Elias Jabbour is Professor of Medicine and Chief of the Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) Section in the Department of Leukemia at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. A world-renowned physician-scientist, he has authored more than 1,000 peer-reviewed publications and is recognized internationally for pioneering advances in the treatment of acute and chronic leukemias.

Over his career, Dr. Jabbour has led pivotal clinical trials that resulted in the approval of multiple therapies for CML, MDS, and ALL, transforming standards of care and improving patient survival worldwide. His groundbreaking work includes defining resistance mechanisms to TKIs, establishing novel frontline regimens for CML, and developing innovative targeted and combination therapies for ALL, including strategies that have significantly advanced outcomes for patients with Philadelphia chromosome–positive ALL.

Through his leadership and vision, Dr. Jabbour continues to shape the field of hematologic oncology, driving forward the integration of precision medicine and next-generation therapeutics to improve outcomes for patients across the globe.
