Jonathan Kaufman

Dr Kaufman is a Professor in the Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Emory University. He is a member of the Winship Cancer Institute in the Drug Development and Therapeutics Program. He leads the multidisciplinary Amyloidosis program at Emory.

He is an active clinical and translational researcher in the fields of multiple myeloma, amyloidosis, and other plasma cell disorders. His research focus is on the development of optimal treatment regimens and new drug development for patients with plasma cell disorders. His work has been published in journals such as NEJM, Journal of Clinical Oncology, Lancet Oncology, Lancet Haematology, Science Signaling, Blood, Leukemia and Blood Cancer Journal. He is a member of the International Myeloma Working Group as well as the International Myeloma Society.
