Laurie Garner

Laurie Garner PA-C, PhD is a Physician Assistant working in both Family Practice and Emergency Medicine. She is graduated with a PhD in Anatomy and Neurobiology from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine and went on to complete her Physician Assistant studies at UKMC. She worked in Pediatrics and Cardiology before joining Woodford Family Physicians in 2002. During the whirlwind of Covid, she also started working in Emergency Medicine. She is a speaker for Eli Lilly Pharmaceuticals and Pfizer in topics of migraine and pain. She has been on the board of the Kentucky Academy of Physician Assitants from 2015-2021 and served as President of KAPA from 2018-2020.
She lives on a farm in central KY with her horse, rescue dogs and cats and volunteers with Bluegrass Doberman Rescue.
