Anthony Solhjoo, M.P.A.S., PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant and Clinical Research Sub-Investigator in the Department of Dermatology at UT Southwestern Medical Center with specialized expertise in Hidradenitis Suppurativa and other inflammatory skin diseases.
He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Texas at Dallas, graduating summa cum laude. During his undergraduate studies, he worked as a research assistant for UT Southwestern’s Department of Dermatology.
He later earned a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the UT Southwestern School of Health Professions, where he was inducted into the Alpha Eta Honor Society and nominated for the Raul Caetano, M.D., Student Research Award.
He has since returned to the Department of Dermatology, where he provides care and promotes an inclusive health care environment for all patients while actively supporting late-phase, industry-sponsored, clinical trials across HS, psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis, cutaneous lupus erythematosus, and atopic dermatitis.
Mr. Solhjoo is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and the Texas State Board of Physician Assistant Examiners. He is also a member and Emerging Scholar of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
