Alice Gottlieb

Victor Czerkasij, Doctor of NP, DCNP, FNP-C, CWCP, MSN, MA, is the senior provider at Skin Cancer & Cosmetic Dermatology, PC, a group of ten offices and 40 providers serving Tennessee and Georgia for thirty years. He is professor and adjoint faculty at his alma maters Vanderbilt University; clinical instructor at Southern Adventist University; dermatology lecturer for Fitzgerald Health Education Associates (FHEA); and a Harvard Scholarship awardee in 1984. On the Editorial Advisory Board of the Nurse Practitioner Journal (NPJ), he also reviews dermatology submissions for the Journal for NP (JNP). He conducts original research primarily in psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis, works closely with the Society of Dermatology NP's (SDNP), and is the founder of the Dermatology NP site on Facebook with over 6,000 members. A member of a dozen advisory boards and committees, he played a role on APP national guidelines for the treatment of atopic dermatitis. Dr. Czerkasij was recently recognized as one of fifty America's Influential NP's by the NPJ, and has traveled six times to Ukraine since the Russian invasion delivering dermatology lectures at medical universities; worked at burn and cancer centers providing care to civilians and soldiers; assisted in dermatology cases at several Children's Hospitals (K'yiv and L'viv), and has received several commendations and honors from the Ukrainian government and Ministry of Health for his assistance during this difficult and dangerous time. In between, Dr. Czerkasij leads tours to the Middle East, participates in amateur archeology, and proud of his hand-built outdoor wood-fired pizza oven.

He was elected to the Board of Directors of the American Academy of Dermatology, is the Founding President of PPACMAN, is on the Scientific and Medical Boards of the National Psoriasis Foundation, Board of the International Dermatology Outcome Measures Group and president-elect of GRAPPA, the Board of the American Skin Association, on the Medical and Scientific Board of the Lupus Foundation of America. He is also the recent past president of the Medical Dermatology Society and is president-elect of the Rheumatology-Dermatology Society. He is a councilor for the International Eczema Council as well as the International Psoriasis Council. He has served on multiple committees including the AAD Guidelines Committee. Dr. Merola has published over 340 peer-reviewed publications and received numerous awards for education, research and mentorship.

Rosemary Son is a PA practicing in the Dermatology Clinic of UT Southwestern since 2014, and now serves as the APP team lead.
Prior to this she practiced as a bariatric dietitian at UT Southwestern.
She has been involved in the leadership of the SDPA, the Texas Dermatology APP society.

Cynthia J. Trickett, PA-C, MPAS, is a Physician Assistant with North
Dallas Dermatology Associates and an adjunct faculty member for the
Physician Assistant Departments of both the University of Texas
Southwestern and the University of North Texas. After 33 years of
service, she retired with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel with the
United States Air Force where she has served in both the Air Force
Reserves and the Texas Air National Guard in the Biomedical Science
Corps. Cynthia completed her master’s degree in Physician Assistant
studies with a concentration in Dermatology at The University of
Nebraska. She is considered an expert in her field and treats most
general dermatology concerns, but she has a passion for psoriasis,
atopic dermatitis, Hidradentitis Suppurativa, and other chronic
inflammatory diseases. She has guest lectured for the National
Psoriasis Foundation (NPF) and lectures to Dermatology practitioners
nationally on psoriatic disease. In 2018, she was presented with the
America’s Top PA award by her peers, and she received the Service
Award from the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA) in
2023. In 2025, she was nominated for PA of the year by the American
Academy of PAs. In 2025 she was awarded the Texas Veteran Commendation Recognition.

Anthony Solhjoo, M.P.A.S., PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant and Clinical Research Sub-Investigator in the Department of Dermatology at UT Southwestern Medical Center with specialized expertise in Hidradenitis Suppurativa and other inflammatory skin diseases.

He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Texas at Dallas, graduating summa cum laude. During his undergraduate studies, he worked as a research assistant for UT Southwestern’s Department of Dermatology.

He later earned a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the UT Southwestern School of Health Professions, where he was inducted into the Alpha Eta Honor Society and nominated for the Raul Caetano, M.D., Student Research Award.

He has since returned to the Department of Dermatology, where he provides care and promotes an inclusive health care environment for all patients while actively supporting late-phase, industry-sponsored, clinical trials across HS, psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis, cutaneous lupus erythematosus, and atopic dermatitis.

Mr. Solhjoo is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and the Texas State Board of Physician Assistant Examiners. He is also a member and Emerging Scholar of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.

Lindsay Murphy, FNP-C, CANS is an aesthetic Nurse Practitioner at Skin Esteem Aesthetic & Wellness Center in Kingston, Massachusetts. With 7 years of experience in aesthetics and 5 years incorporating facial ultrasound into her practice, she specializes in advanced facial aesthetics with a focus on anatomy, ultrasound-guided injectables, patient safety, and evidence-based care.

Lindsay has completed advanced facial ultrasound training under the mentorship of Dawn Naylor, DNP, CANS, as well as additional training with facial ultrasound pioneer Dr. Peter Velthuis. She also serves as a research assistant supporting facial ultrasound research focused on advancing patient safety and evidence-based practice.

Lindsay is honored to present the facial ultrasound curriculum developed by Dr. Dawn Naylor, sharing the techniques and principles that have become an integral part of her own clinical practice.

He is professor and adjoint faculty at his alma maters Vanderbilt University; clinical instructor at Southern Adventist University; dermatology lecturer for Fitzgerald Health Education Associates (FHEA); and a Harvard Scholarship awardee in 1984. On the Editorial Advisory Board of the Nurse Practitioner Journal (NPJ), he also reviews dermatology submissions for the Journal for NP (JNP). He conducts original research primarily in psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis, works closely with the Society of Dermatology NP's (SDNP), and is the founder of the Dermatology NP site on Facebook with over 6,000 members. A member of a dozen advisory boards and committees, he played a role on APP national guidelines for the treatment of atopic dermatitis. Dr. Czerkasij was recently recognized as one of fifty America's Influential NP's by the NPJ, and has traveled six times to Ukraine since the Russian invasion delivering dermatology lectures at medical universities; worked at burn and cancer centers providing care to civilians and soldiers; assisted in dermatology cases at several Children's Hospitals (K'yiv and L'viv), and has received several commendations and honors from the Ukrainian government and Ministry of Health for his assistance during this difficult and dangerous time. He holds the Mary Kay Distinguished Chair in Dermatology. Dr. Merola is board-certified in Dermatology, Internal Medicine, and Rheumatology. He earned his medical degree at the NYU School of Medicine and his Masters at Harvard Medical School. He completed an internship in Internal Medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, residency in Dermatology at NYU Medical Center. He continued with a residency in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Rheumatology at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital / Harvard Medical School in Boston. He was elected to the Board of Directors of the American Academy of Dermatology, is the Founding President of PPACMAN, is on the Scientific and Medical Boards of the National Psoriasis Foundation, Board of the International Dermatology Outcome Measures Group and president-elect of GRAPPA, the Board of the American Skin Association, on the Medical and Scientific Board of the Lupus Foundation of America. Cynthia J. Trickett, PA-C, MPAS, is a Physician Assistant with North
Dallas Dermatology Associates and an adjunct faculty member for the
Physician Assistant Departments of both the University of Texas
Southwestern and the University of North Texas. After 33 years of
service, she retired with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel with the
United States Air Force where she has served in both the Air Force
Reserves and the Texas Air National Guard in the Biomedical Science
Corps. Cynthia completed her master’s degree in Physician Assistant
studies with a concentration in Dermatology at The University of
Nebraska. She is considered an expert in her field and treats most
general dermatology concerns, but she has a passion for psoriasis,
atopic dermatitis, Hidradentitis Suppurativa, and other chronic
inflammatory diseases. She has guest lectured for the National
Psoriasis Foundation (NPF) and lectures to Dermatology practitioners
nationally on psoriatic disease. In 2018, she was presented with the
America’s Top PA award by her peers, and she received the Service
Award from the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA) in
2023. In 2025, she was nominated for PA of the year by the American
