Vinny Romano MSc, NRP, CF has completed international research focused on peer support. A successfully published author of 2 peer reviewed papers and more recently writing a chapter on peer support in a soon to be published book; Vinny has become a subject matter expert. He has provided consultation to NHS Trusts across the UK on implementing peer support tools, such as Trauma Risk Management (TRiM). He is a Winston Churchill Fellow, completing research on peer support across areas of the US, sharing his learning at local and national conferences across the UK. He holds a Batchelor of Science in Paramedicine from the University of Cumbria and a Masters Degree in Advanced Practice from the University of Greater Manchester (formally Bolton), and currently embarking on his PhD focusing on TRiM.
