Faculty Agenda

Before joining the Orange County Office of the Medical Director as Deputy Medical Director in 2022, Dr. Fitzpatrick spent over a decade at the University of Florida College of Medicine Department of Emergency Medicine. During his tenure as faculty at UF, he held several key positions, including Emergency Medical Services Division Chief of Operations, Co-Stadium Medical Director for Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, Associate EMS Fellowship Director, and Medical Director for Lake and Sumter Counties. While at Orange County, Dr. Fitzpatrick has been an enthusiastic educator and has made significant contributions to patient care initiatives, including advancements in Sepsis care, the implementation of Whole Blood in the field, and improvements in cardiac arrest care.
