Faculty Agenda

Diedra Blankenship, LP, BS, is a veteran paramedic and EMS educator with nearly three decades of field and classroom experience. She holds a BS in Emergency Health Sciences, Summa Cum Laude, and is a member of the Alpha Eta Honor Society. Diedra is a professor at Temple College EMS Program in Temple, Texas, where her work in simulation, scenario design, and evidence-informed instruction has helped shape award-winning outcomes. She previously served as Program Director for nearly a decade. She was honored as the 2019 Texas DSHS EMS Educator of the Year and earned the 2025 Texas DSHS EMS Education Program of the Year. Diedra serves on the Board of the Texas Association of EMS Educators and the National Association of EMS Educators, advancing EMS education at statewide and national levels.
