Jon R. Krohmer, M.D., FACEP, FAEMS is the Principal for EMSMD PLLC, a volunteer with the National EMS Museum, a member of the Panel of Commissioners for the Commission on the Accreditation of Ambulance Services and is on the Board of Directors for Velico Medical. He is Associate Medical Editor for the NAEMTs AMLS textbook. He is an Adjunct Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine and Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor, Western Michigan University Homer Stryker MD School of Medicine. He is board certified in emergency medicine and emergency medical services. He retired as the Director of the NHTSA Office of EMS. Previously, he was the principal deputy assistant secretary for DHS Office of Health Affairs and DHS deputy chief medical officer.
