Brooke Burton is the Quality Improvement Leader for Unified Fire Authority in Salt Lake County, UT. Brooke has 30 years experience as a paramedic in rural to urban environments specializing in performance improvement. Brooke has served on the Editorial Review Board of EMS World magazine and the steering committee for the National EMS Information System (NEMSIS). Brooke is President of the National EMS Management Association (NEMSMA) and Vice President of the National EMS Quality Alliance (NEMSQA) where she also serves on various technical expert panels. Brooke is faculty for several national leadership programs including the National Association of EMS Physicians (NAEMSP) Quality Course. Brooke received the American Ambulance Association 2016 award for Best Quality Improvement Program and is a nationally known writer, researcher, and speaker on EMS quality and leadership.
