Rebecca Carmody is a Master EMS Instructor and Paramedic with more than 25 years of active ALS 911 experience, currently serving as the EMS Training Officer in Las Vegas, Nevada. She holds multiple credentials including ACLS, PALS, CPR, TECC, PHTLS, GEMS, PTEP, EVOS, NAEMT Instructor, and Course Coordinator. She serves on the NAEMT EMS Disaster Preparedness Committee and is an expert content reviewer for Jones & Bartlett Learning EMT and AEMT textbooks. Her education includes an Associate of Applied Science in Paramedic Medicine and an Associate of Applied Science in Fire Technology from the College of Southern Nevada. Her accomplishments include expanding Field Training Officer programs, leading QA/QI initiatives, revising protocols, and educating hundreds of EMS students.
