MCI: Triage Best Practices and Lessons Learned

We will study and discuss best practices and lessons learned from past mass casualty incidents (MCI) focusing on triage, treatment, and transport. The goal is to better prepare individually, as a department ,and a community in the event of an MCI. Case studies will be presented and the audience will be challenged to critically think how they would respond to those events. We will also be doing a hands on triage, treatment, and transport exercise utilizing patient cards.
