Intended Learners

This conference is designed for physicians, nursing professionals, physician associates, physical therapists, researchers, scientists, podiatrists, and dietitians across all practice settings involved in wound healing or wound care issues. SAWC Spring | WHS provides attendees who study and treat wounds with state-of-the-art reviews of clinical problems and research information. 

Learning Objectives

After participating in SAWC Spring | WHS, participants should be able to: 

  • Improve patients’ lives through interdisciplinary and comprehensive care to prevent, treat, and manage patients with wounds, including chronic, complex, and difficult-to-heal wounds 
  • Enhance your practice by employing best-practice strategies, clinical pearls, and scientifically driven evidence-based guidelines for prevention and management of wounds 
  • Advance your service by better understanding reimbursement, quality measures, and the use of emerging and innovative wound healing technologies and modalities

Requirements for Credit 

To be eligible for documentation of credit for each session attended, learners must participate in the activity and complete the session(s) and overall conference evaluations, as well as post-test(s), if applicable. Participants who complete the evaluation online within 30 days of the conference will receive documentation of credit. Your certificate may not load if you are accessing it from a smartphone, or if your browser settings do not allow for a new tab/window to open.  

Once a certificate has been claimed, physicians and pharmacists may elect for credits to be submitted on their behalf to their boards via additional fields that will appear within the Claim Certificate page. Credits must be submitted through this process to be reported to the American Board of Surgery and the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy.
