  In this session, we will talk about distinguishing chorea in HD from other movement disorders that may present similarly, as well as assessing motor findings, cognitive impairment, and psychiatric manifestations of HD.

  Managing the Non-Motor Symptoms of HD

  During this presentation, we will discuss managing non-motor symptoms of HD to prevent complications like suicide and aggression, in addition to describing the impact of chorea in HD symptoms on the functional status of individuals and the potential for treatment.

  Impact of Chorea in HD and the Evolving Treatment Landscape

  In the final segment, we will present on evaluating the safety and efficacy of VMAT2 inhibitors for the treatment of chorea in HD and their optimal role in clinical practice, and initiating family education to address adjustment in caregiving and identification of those at risk for HD.
