Laurence Needleman
Professor of Radiology

Laurence Needleman was born in the Bronx, studied Philosophy as an undergraduate at Cornell, moved around and landed in Philadelphia to work at Thomas Jefferson University where he is Professor of Radiology. He was the second Director of Ultrasound succeeding Barry Goldberg. He trained in Radiology at Cornell Medical Center in Radiology and was a fellow at Jefferson for Body Imaging. He is a Co Director of the Jefferson Vascular Center He is particularly interested in vascular ultrasound. He had held positions on the IAC-VT board, SVU board, and JRC-CVT.
