Dr Bella Hausen obtained her medical degree from the universities of Manchester and Edinburgh where she was initially a plastic surgical trainee with an interest in micro vascular repair. She completed advance microsurgical training at Zurich, and Rhainoplasty Msc at Barcelona. She went on to complete her Radiology and Interventional Radiology specialist registration with the royal college of Radiology London U.K. She completed her advance Endovascular fellowship with Professor Andrew Holden at Auckland University hospital, NewZealand.

Dr Hausen preformed the first lithotripsy in peripheral endovascular CLI disease, along with the first Sirolimus DCB use in both CLI and AVF, in Europe.

Dr Huasen is the head of endovascular research and innovation in Lancashire U.K. Her current interest are training and education of future doctors, radiation protection for patients and staff, CLI management, AVF salvage, pain management and women’s health. She currently works at Lancashire University health trusts U.K.
