Robert Foster MD is an Interventional cardiologist specializing in peripheral endovascular procedures at The Vein Company in Kingsport TN. He practiced as an IC with Birmingham Heart Clinic, in Birmingham Alabama, for 26 years with special interest in peripheral arterial and venous disease before becoming the Chief Medical Officer for Rampart IC. and the President of ORSIF

Dr. Foster is a graduate of Baylor University and received his medical degree from UAB. After residency at UT Southwestern, he returned to UAB for cardiology fellowship. He then went on staff at UAB as the Clinical Director of Cardiac MRI before joining the Birmingham Heart Clinic.

Dr. Foster’s passion now is creating the safest interventional lab environments to protect physicians and staff from the harmful effects of radiation while reducing orthopedic strain and injury.
