Christopher Steelman is an Assistant Professor and Founding Director of the Cardiac Specialist Program at Weber State University’s School of Radiologic Sciences. His work focuses on artificial intelligence, robotics, and occupational safety in the cath lab. He co-chairs the American College of Cardiology’s Allied Health Professionals Workgroup and serves on the Board of Advisors for Cardiovascular Credentialing International, advancing national standards, credential alignment, and workforce development. He has held multiple roles with the American Society of Radiologic Technologists, including three terms as Chair of the Cardiac Interventional and Vascular Interventional Chapter. An Associate of the American College of Cardiology and a Fellow of the Alliance of Cardiovascular Professionals, Steelman has authored SCAI-endorsed educational guidelines for invasive cardiovascular technology personnel and several textbook chapters on angiography, vascular imaging equipment, and emerging technologies. A frequent international speaker, he has delivered invited lectures in more than 20 countries across Asia, Africa, Europe, and North America. He serves as an editorial advisor for professional journals and mentors early-career technologists and clinicians.
