Dr. Bozzuto graduated from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1980 and completed a residency in emergency medicine at LAC-USC Medical Center in 1983. He completed his hyperbaric medicine training at the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore. He has served as medical director of Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville, FL, Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, GA and most recently the NE Section Chair of Wound Care for Geisinger Health System in Scranton, PA. He has authored many articles and textbook chapters in wound care and hyperbaric medicine and was an exam writer for both hyperbaric medicine and wound care certification examinations. He has received several awards for clinical excellence and teaching/education. He is currently emeritus professor at Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine in Scranton, PA. Dr. Bozzuto is a Founding Fellow of the Academy of Physicians in Wound Healing and the American Professional Wound Care Association.
