Kwasi Adusei, DNP, PMHNP-BC is Senior Prescriber at Journey Clinical and co-founder of the Psychedelic Society of Western New York, out of which he developed a grassroots psychedelic harm reduction program. Kwasi is a trainee of the MAPS sponsored MDMA-assisted psychotherapy for PTSD and was part of the first ever therapists of color cohort. As an educator and community organizer, he is informed by his experience with the war on drugs and community mental health, both as a patient and a clinician. He serves on the boards of Reconsider and PRATI, was on the Diversity Working Group for MAPS and is developing a psychedelic training program for nurses and nurse practitioners.
