Jeremy Heinerich is the Chief PA of Oncology at Mount Sinai Hospital. He oversees the inpatient oncology PA's and the Procedure Clinic. He continues to work per diem at NYP/Cornell on the inpatient leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma service. He is a strong advocate for the PA and NP professions and ensuring that we practice to the top of our license. He is very involved with the Association of PA's in Oncology(APAO) planning conferences, participating with the board and providing consultation services in conference planning and education as well as advanced practice service creation. He has received the Lifetime achievement award from APAO as well. He is on the Executive Board of Horizon CME APP Oncology Summit and recently won the Most Valuable Professional award for the NYC area meeting. He is also very involved with the American Academy of PA's on the national level in advancing the role of the PA. He has served on many boards and volunteers with many non-profit organizations throughout NYC. He lectures throughout the country teaching bone marrow biopsy and lumbar puncture workshops among other topics.
