Stanley Brizz is Executive Director of Brevard Prevention Coalition, serving Brevard and Seminole Counties in Florida, and Chairperson of Brevard County’s Opioid Misuse Task Force. He is also an addictions and substance misuse counselor for a regional medication-assisted treatment provider. Holding a master’s degree in psychology with a specialization in Industrial-Organizational Psychology and a graduate certificate in Addictions and Substance Abuse Counseling from the University of South Florida, he is part of the leadership team behind the “Better Without It” prevention initiative, adopted for statewide implementation in Kentucky. Mr. Brizz has directed prevention campaigns and programs across Florida and expanded activities to California, partnering with agencies including Central Florida Cares, the Florida Department of Children and Families, the CDC, SAMHSA, school districts, and municipalities. He also co-founded and leads the trademarked “I Choose ME” prevention initiative and the “Move Into Light” stigma-reduction initiative.

An experienced presenter, Mr. Brizz frequently speaks and exhibits at the national Rx & Illicit Drug Summit, the CADCA Mid-Year Training Institute, and other prevention-focused conferences. He also serves on the Advisory Council of the Rx & Illicit Drug Summit and has been a Hope Ambassador for the summit for 2025 and 2026. Locally, he serves on the Continuum of Care advisory council in connection with Brevard Homeless Coalition and is Board Chairperson of Florida High School for Accelerated Learning – Brevard, Inc. (Riverside Charter High School), a dropout prevention and credit recovery program.
