Dr. Durrani is an Assistant Professor of Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. She graduated with a degree in Chemical Engineering from Columbia University completed her M.D. at Georgetown in 2012. Dr. Durrani completed her diagnostic radiology residency at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She went on to complete her IR fellowship at Miami Cardiac and Vascular Institute in 2018 and remembers with excitement and trepediation the thrill of lives cases at ISET . She has a specific interest in peripheral arterial disease, complex central venous recanalization, trauma interventions, and Women's Health. Aside from her busy clinical practice at Wake Forest, Dr. Durrani is the Director of Interventional Radiology Services at the Kernersville HCC where she has developed the first in nation endovascular care practice within a Veteran's Administration Healthcare Facility. Providing comprehensive vascular care to our nation's finest has become a passion for Dr. Durrani. Outside of th angiosuite, Dr. Durrani is the Vice Chair of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion for the Wake Forest Department of Radiology. She is also active in resident education and loves teaching the new generation of clinical Interventional Radiologists. For Dr. Durrani, the opportunity to present at ISET alongside so many of her MCVI mentors is truly an honor!
