Faculty Agenda

Patrick Malone, M.Ed., is a Senior Lecturer Emeritus in the Department of Rehabilitation and Movement Science at the University of Vermont (UVM). He has been a dedicated educator in emergency medical services (EMS) for four decades, contributing significantly to the training and development of EMS professionals.

Malone served as the Director of the Initiaitve for Rural Emergency Medical Services and developed the Emergnecy Medical Services Minor and taught more than 175 Emergnecy Medicaal Technician courses.

In recognition of his outstanding contributions to EMS ni Vermont, Malone received the EMS Lifetime Award from the Vermont Department of Health Office of EMS & Injury Prevention. Malone's dedication to his students and passion for teaching have left a lasting impact on the EMS community, inspiring many to pursue careers in emergency medical services.
