Faculty Agenda

With 20+ years in prehospital medicine, Michael Juntunen has held a variety of roles that give him a broad perspective of the healthcare system in the United States as well as a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership. Michael has worked as front-line Paramedic in both the hospital and pre-hospital settings, has been a site supervisor and a regional manager; but most recently has taken on the role of building and expanding Mayo Clinic’s Community Paramedic service. In addition to his role at Mayo Clinic, he is also an instructor, speaker, and sits on a variety of regional and state EMS committees; one of which is a recent appointment as President of the Minnesota Ambulance Association.
