Jeff Hood

Training Chief
Castle Rock Fire and Rescue Department

My name is Jeff Hood, and I am honored to serve as the Training Chief for the Castle Rock Fire and Rescue Department. With a career spanning three decades, I began my journey in the fire service in the suburbs of Chicago in 1994 before relocating to Castle Rock, Colorado in 2001. Throughout my career, I have thoroughly enjoyed every position I have had the privilege to hold, from firefighter to engineer, lieutenant, captain, and now as Training Chief. My dedication to the fire service is eclipsed only by my commitment to my family, consisting of my wife and two sons, aged 18 and 20. This dual commitment has shaped my approach to both my professional and personal life.
