Dr. Ameera Haamid is an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of Chicago Medicine, Assistant Fellowship Director at University of Chicago Medicine, and the Associate EMS Medical Director for Chicago South EMS System. She is the past co-chair of the NAEMSP Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee. Her career interests lie at the intersection of prehospital care and health equity.
