Emily Block is a registered inflammatory bowel disease nurse at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, IL. Emily is one of the lead IBD nurses in the center and has helped spearhead quality improvement projects and assisted in the opening of the IBD infusion center at Northwestern. Prior to her work in IBD, Emily was a medical-surgical nurse at Northwestern. Emily received her Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Illinois. Currently, Emily is pursuing an advanced degree in the Family Nurse Practitioner program at Chamberlain University College of Nursing, with a projected graduation of June 2023. Emily will specialize upon graduation in inflammatory bowel disease.
