We focus the exhibit hall hours to be open primarily during non-competing times with the General Session, beak-out sessions, Innovation Theaters, and Symposia. We’ve seen that this allows the exhibitors a more engaged time with the attendees. We have utilized this practice at AIBD since 2018 and have found it to be successful for the exhibitors. Based on feedback from exhibitors, it has been found to decrease the “down” hours in an empty exhibit hall and allows them to better schedule their staffing.

Blackout Hours

Blackout hours are put in place to ensure that large groups of HCPs are not pulled away from the educational sessions of AIBD. Blackout hours pertain to groups larger than 15.

* While we’ve removed the official blackout hours for this date, we kindly ask that for any sponsor-hosted events with 15 or more attendees, you avoid timing conflicts with our Pre-Conference workshops. For example, please refrain from scheduling a women’s reception during our “Women in IBD Workshop & Reception.”

 Additionally, for events of this size, we ask that you share any attendee invitations you plan to distribute to AIBD participants. This helps us coordinate communication and ensure the best overall experience for everyone onsite.

Business Suite Hours

The Business Suites will be available for your meetings during the following hours. Please note, the Business Suites must follow the Conference Blackout Hours.

The Business Suites will be located in Pacific Ballroom C, adjacent to the General Session. The doors will be monitored to ensure that anyone accessing the Business Suites must be wearing the AIBD Conference badge.
